It's extremely important to keep your bird feeders clean to avoid making birds ill and avoiding the spread existing avian diseases. We recommend once a month, clean your feeders with a solution of one part bleach to ten parts water. Allow the mixture to remain on your feeders for 15 minutes then rinse thoroughly. A still brush can be used to scrub difficult areas. Allow the feeder to completely dry before refilling it.
